We’re Gabriela (Peruvian) and James (Australian)—partners in life and in this brand. What began as a shared obsession with natural fibers became a simple mission: introduce the world to truly pure alpaca knitwear, made with care and built to last.

Why Alpaca (and why Baby Alpaca)

Alpaca is one of the world’s most remarkable natural fibers—lightweight, warm, breathable, and naturally refined. We work with 100% baby alpaca, selected for its exceptional softness and finer feel, with a smooth finish that layers easily and stays comfortable across seasons. Alpaca is also loved for its natural temperature regulation—warm when it’s cold, comfortable when it’s not—and for many people it feels gentler than traditional wool.

In other words: it’s the kind of fiber you reach for often, and keep for years.

A Quiet Rebellion Against Synthetics

Over the last decade, clothing has become increasingly dominated by synthetic fibers—chosen for speed and low cost, not for how they wear, how they feel, or what they leave behind. Synthetics are derived from fossil fuels, they don’t biodegrade like natural fibers, and they can shed microfibers over time.

We chose a different standard: no synthetic blends, ever. Our knitwear is 100% baby alpaca—and we keep the details just as intentional:

Our pieces are made in Peru with the help of an adorable, highly skilled couple: Abigail and Efraín, based in Arequipa. They’re the people who turn our sketches, measurements, and ideas into something real—finishing each piece with patience, precision, and pride. Working together means every garment carries a human story, not just a size label.

Responsible Fiber, Trusted Sourcing

We source our alpaca through Inca Tops, a respected Peruvian supplier known for quality standards and responsible processes, with industry certifications that support traceability and best practices. (If you’d like, we can add the exact certification names as a small “Standards” line on the page.)
